Kaiser has Moved!

Hello all - after some thinking about my use case and who on which instances I interact with, I've moved to @kaiser_franz@infosec.exchange - I migrated to pixelfed in between here and there, but followers didn't seem to make the second hop. So I'm briefly canceling the redirect to pop in to post here. When in a city or other setting I’m still a bit squeamish about getting close to strangers with a camera so they tend to be much more big picture. #photochat (sorry I’m getting caught up a day late)

That feeling when you get off work early, take the 4x5 out, get a few interesting compositions, and realize on the way home that you’re pretty sure you forgot to stop down after focusing on 3/4 of the exposures.

@filmisnotdead@mastodon.social I believe Pixelfed allows you to post a few more images at a time (6 or 10, don’t remember which, which makes it even more frustrating when PF users post single image after single image and monopolize the timeline) and doesn’t reduce the picture quality as much at upload.

But everything else about the user experience, in my opinion, is better on Mastodon, especially considering you can follow PF accounts easily from Mastodon.

I haven’t touched my PF account in months.
