Is it #shrinkflation? A year or so ago, #Charmin changed their #ToiletPaper so the cuts were "scalloped" shaped—why?!

Anyway, I recently bought a new pack: the straight cuts are back, but the paper seems thinner and much less soft. 😒 🚽

Edit: oops, my mistake. I bought "soft" instead of "ultra-soft". So does that mean if the package doesn't say even soft, it's like tin foil?

I rarely order anything but black #coffee at coffeeshops. The sweetened drinks are just too crazy sweet. Even if they weren't, I just prefer black coffee. But I awoke this morning craving a caramel macchiato, but too lazy to haul my ass anywhere to go get one. Solution? Homemade. Brewed a cup of coffee at full strength but half the water. Added a teaspoon of sugar and a half teaspoon of vanilla. Filled the rest of my cup with milk. Turned out decently! Or decent enough to satisfy my craving.

@RickiTarr@beige.party I was reading a deposition of a person who was suing their employer for psychological distress, claiming the employer did nothing to address the bullying from other employees the person was receiving. I thought, "This poor person, I hope they get some satisfaction." Turns out the person themselves was the bully; all the other depositions from their co-workers stated this person was aggressive, belligerent, unreasonable, had anger issues, etc.

@paul@oldfriends.live Reminds me of the #GeorgeMichael video (“Outside”) where he satirized his arrest for lewd behavior. [ from Wikipedia: In 1999, [arresting officer Marcelo Rodríguez] brought a US$10 million court case in California against Michael. The court dismissed the case, but an appellate court reinstated it on 3 December 2002. The court then ruled that Rodríguez, as a public official, could not legally recover damages for emotional distress.
