Playing around a bit with a self-hosted account: @jewelpit@me.thecloudtender.com. I'm probably gonna try to move over there eventually if it doesn't bother me too much, because the better post visibility options, BlueSky/RSS integration, and ability to embed images in the middle of posts instead of just as attachments are all pretty nice features.

This happened to me! I was hiking with my dog and some friends when we came across a group of people I'd never met before, and one of them looked down at my dog and called him by name. Turns out he worked at the daycare my dog goes to!

Then, when the singer got her wish, she realized she'd sacrificed so much for it, and she didn't even want it anymore! She'd be spending the entire rest of her life knowing that he was only with her because of magic. The end!

It had a picture perfect ending, too :) The selfish tech CEO character (drive: get back control of the company he was kicked out of for getting a bunch of people killed with a faulty product) acquired a ton of ruin really quickly due to bad rolls, and in ring 5 he killed the goody-two-shoes pilot (drive: undo a crash he caused that killed like 60 people), then was killed in self-defense by the neutral singer (drive: get "her" man back from Jolene).

So I'm still not 100% convinced how much I enjoy running Forged in the Dark from a GMing perspective, but I've had two different one shots for two different groups foster fail into campaigns in the last few months, so that certainly says something about how they are as a player!

Finished a very pleasant book over the weekend. The inner story was a love story about a married couple and the house that brought them back together, while the framing device was a copy editor going on a journey of self-discovery. Highly recommend!
