More medication adjustments, I've lost my appetite and am nauseous often. I am now living off Zofran, and protein shakes and bars. I feel great mentally - but I'd like to be able to eat real food again 😅

Another glimmer, getting a new fridge within the next 24hours! Ours decided to leak a ton of water all over our food (not good). Landlord is replacing it (good). 🙌🏼

1. Had a nice gathering today and the vibes were very positive all around!

2. The day was sunny. My skin is unhappy, but I'm not, at least.

3. Talked more with new mom friend and we really do get along so well. Kind of feels like we have known each other for a long time, which is a little strange. 🤔

Today while standing in the field, the wind blew through the trees and made a hushing sound. I looked up, and petals from what appeared to be an apple tree of phenomenal height were showering down on me.
I have never seen an apple tree that tall.

Often times when I am back there, the red tail hawk will screech as he circles overhead, roosters crow in the backround - a symphony of life around me.

It's moments like these that I'm reminded that spirit is all around me. I feel so lucky.

1. One of the kids saucer chairs came in the mail. The box was so beyond beat up it was almost funny. What did it go through to get here? Miraculously the chair was unharmed, and the toddler is now glued to it.

2. I'm lying down. I've wanted to do this all day 😅

3. My hair looked nice today. Or nice-er. My hair is naturally wavy and for the first time in quite a long time I've started using product for that. Lil' self esteem boost.

1. Day trip with the family. Really had a great time. I bought a new water bottle, kids book and a sweater for the baby at a gift shop.

2. Laughed a lot today, my husband too. I love seeing him laugh.

3. My package arrived in the mail that had some plastic drawing stencils for the toddler and me to use together. 😄

1. Got a new trashcan. It has a foot pedal, it's quiet, and the perfect size for the spot. I never expected to be so excited about a trash can.😄

2. I opened the mail to find I had a small settlement from a lawsuit. Someone stole my data or something - not the first time. It wasn't a ton, but it was certainly more than I expected. Takes some stress off!

3. Fried a couple hotdogs today. Hit the spot. Must've been the sunny day. 😌

Alright folks. Favorite water bottle / tumbler brands with straws. Needs good flow.

My current one just quit on me. I didn't really like it to begin with since it was a metal tumbler (so loud) with no handle, but it was a gift, so... 😅

I'm chronically dehydrated and I need my cup to perform well and also be cute, or I won't drink enough. It's just how it is over here. 🥲

1. Cleaned the kitchen pretty decently, including the garbage disposal. Yikes, but yay. 😮‍💨

2. Had a sunny day, so I opened all the windows and freshened the air.

3. I hung up some art pieces in the bedroom and reorganized the top of my dresser to be a small altar of things representing my loved ones. Now I can see more things that bring me joy, every day (very needed). I also added a grab spot for hair ties and clips.

I feel better already.

After catching Covid three times while fully vaccinated, the last two not so horrible as the first where I was bedridden for four weeks, I have long covid.

People NEED to understand Covid damages the system even in mild cases because it's not necessarily about only surviving the first case. Viruses work quietly, too.

The only way to prevent long covid is to prevent covid infection. I know we're collectively traumatized by the pandemic. That doesn't mean we shouldn't mask. Please mask.

@ShaulaEvans Thank you!! It surprises and disappoints me when I see those insults. Saying that some politicians are supposedly "in the closet" or whatever appearance- or otherwise- based insults not only brings focus to entirely the wrong things, but some are extremely hurtful to people we'd consider allies. Implying being queer, sick, or whatever else... Is wrong, and inherently targetable. Pick the right stuff. There's so much. It's open season with their crimes and qualities of character.

@eff@mastodon.social just wanted to drop a public note as a concerned US person. ICE has been buying publically available data, including 'harmless' ad data, collected via apps and websites we use. It is one reason why using a privacy-oriented browser and addons like privacy badger are so important, and the perfect example of how seemingly inconsequential things DO have big consequences.

2. Fried plantains with today's dinner, which I also didn't have to cook! Something about fried plantains just feels special to me. 🍌

3. Generally in a good mood today. AuDHD and bipolar on top of high stress can make that more difficult. So today, I am grateful for that.

Bonus: Ants swarmed the bait and now there are considerably less ants. Whew. I love ants as insects, but my brain doesn't - I see them and my whole body gets itchy!

@77nn@goto.77nn.it @mcnado@mstdn.social 1000% agree. If I recall correctly, in the beginning RFK said they'd keep the abortion pill. Immediately after taking office, basically said "nevermind!" Trump did the same thing with...everything. It was so clear it was just a massive ploy to pander to various groups to get in control. Greedy sadists, of so many varieties. There was never a single move of theirs that didn't have an ulterior motive. What makes me sad is desperate (and uneducated) people just get sucked in.

@mcnado@mstdn.social the flu shot worked great this season - everyone around got sick but me and my vaccinated kids. Thank goodness, because ever since catching Covid 3x everything goes straight into my lungs. 🥲 They're crazy. Trust the science!
