@novenary @oddtail same, or I guess I have socially transitioned, but I haven’t even started medical transition yet, almost 5 years in. I want top surgery so badly but it’s so hard. I’ve kinda stopped doubting one or two years ago. Socially transitioning (and stuff like new clothes) has made me so used to thinking of myself as nonbinary that it just feels self-evident. I guess being closeted can make the doubt worse because pretending to be your agab can really have an effect on you, I think. But doubt really sucks, I also dealt with it a lot in the past. I’d just like you to know that you’re not alone, both in doubting and in being pre-transition (at least in some ways) 5 years in, and it gets better.

@nami@tech.lgbt I’d also recommend considering what is safe for you to do. If you pass as your gender it sounds like a good idea, if not it might put you in danger if things go really bad in the future. Same thing about if you choose a nonbinary gender marker, in case that’s an option. I know it sucks, I really do, but it might be worth considering.

@fixatedpersonsunit @Sir_Osis_of_Liver there used to be a few busses with ads like that on the back that had a picture of the landbastard, I know it’s probably a lot harder to do that on a bus and not get caught but it would’ve been hilarious to see the googly eyes shake as the bus moved (and way better than being filled with rage as the piece of shit that is exploiting other people’s need for housing and increases the rent at every opportunity making the whole housing situation of the town even worse grins at you smugly from the back of the bus driving in front of you)
