#WordWeavers May 13: What role does non-romantic love play in your story?
I would not use the word "love" in many other contexts but mainly because I am Finn and we find overuse of the word boring.
#ScribesAndMakers – 12th May. Our next featured creator is a Table Top Role Playing Game designer. Do you play, or have you played, TTRPGs
D&D (boxed sets), Ars Magica, RuneQuest/Glorantha, Call of Cthulhu, CORPS, Cyberpunk 2020
#WordWeavers 12/5: What role does romantic love play in your story?
Peripheral detail but I have had plans for more romantic stories.
#WordWeavers 10/5: What are the beauty standards like in your world, and do they impact any of your characters?
In the Exotics world, as they are in our (which makes life of certrain kind of exotics hard due to their unusual appearance). As for the Uthodi Republic, they have seen it all and do not care.
#WritersCoffeeClub May 9: C&R: Share the first line of your current WIP.
"It was not the first time Lichuen had been staring into the barrel of a gun."
#PennedPossibilities 1008 — Have you ever had someone translate a story of yours (into another language)?
I mainly do that myself but I would not call it "translation" but "rewriting".
#WritersCoffeeClub May 6 - Talk about something you've written which you expected would (or expect will) divide readers.
I suspect that the world of Exotics, which includes analogues to real-life political movements, may divide potential readers who think certain groups were automatically "commies". Uthodi Republic is also, in current terms, entirely "woke".
#WritersCoffeeClub 5/4. Is there a scene or a character or even a plot you regret adding to a finished work?
I regret writing my first novel-length story. I am happy I have lost the text file.
#WritersCoffeeClub May 3: Do you write your works localized to the setting or to your background? How do you decide?
I have at least some idea about the setting. Having a background actually makes writing the story easier.
