"although solar panels can act as ecological traps, fragmenting their solar-active area does lessen their attractiveness to polarotactic insects.” So panels with visible stripes are preferable over the one colored ones.

Wow did not except people still land these arguments around here.

LLM's are effective and useful, but not for what you want them to be. It's about power. It's about deception. It is about mass surveillance. And it is effective already.

And LLM are not just tools facilitating this, its a whole ideology linked to it that spreading more intensively through out the world.

That's a pretty good advice. Building up memory that can be used on impulsive instincts, does not only boost confidence, but gives you lots of time in moments you need to act fast, as you taken the time already in the past.

Can't remember who taught me that first. But first aid instructor and marshal arts teacher spoke about it.

Have you ever though when recapturing past crisis, it be dope to be better prepared?

Do something small everyday to increase your preparedness.

And that could be as little as filling up some bottles with tap water, to having a full equipment to do a food not bombs kitchen, or more knowledge and confidence, or radio equipment and knowing how to use it, or having talked with your neighborhood how to help each other, or having weapons, or first aid kids and knowing how to use the, or what about water filter and some equipment to build flammable devices...the list continues endless. There is something you can pick up everyday.

For me today it will be increasing my personal fitness, increasing my knowledge in sabotage and speaking with friends.

Nah, I don't buy into this populism. Sure it can decrease conflicts over resources, but Dysprosium and Neodym isn't exactly found everywhere.

War is also not just a tool to gain leverage over resources it is also to gain power over another people and as climate crisis will intensify struggles over different forms of living/organising together as societies, so will war find new and old ways of killing.

Switching to renewable energy is all good game, but we gotta need to keep it real.

The buzz around renewable energy currently also serves as a cover up to our ever increasing energy demand, where as the saying goes, 'can keep the demand if we just switch to renewable'...but that's a false premise, as the high energy demand is linked to ecocide, doesn't matter what. Harm reduction is all great, but false hope will lead us to strategies that won't adopt to the circumstances we are in.

@ConnyDuck that would be one of the rare occasion I'd agree with a conductor. Thought if conductor notices that train is getting a little packed with bicycles, I'd expect them to guide each train stop the new person with a bicycle (if there is one), to the wagon with still enough space.
