@jab01701mid There's apparently a few web-based apps that are a better value. I used H&R Block for years but switched this year and it was actually easier. I have a Schedule C business and it was cool. Either way the cost is worth it for the time!

@cwebber @MichaelTBacon @ocdtrekkie @alienghic after 25 years as a programmer, and having shifted to a different career I am finally trying to learn about what I have been doing all this time. That is focusing on learning programming instead of just intuitively building web apps.

@misternineham The 36 is 2 squares and the 5? is approximately 3.5 squares thats 63 inches. I spent several minutes trying to read a phone message with almost entirely ambiguous digits.

@wagtail Generally art should be sourced from artists. Find someone in your community willing to donate the time to create the art, the same as the code, or pay them. Find Creative Commons or public domain sources for images @publicdomainrev or image archives provided by public institutions such as museums and other public archives. Consider why you need an image, and if not making effort on the image by using AI will have the impact you expect.

@old_angry_queer Wow, I know I've seen this technique somewhere else before! I think I have a tube of op-amps somewhere. I should donate those to the maker space.

@netopwibby This! There are still folks creating this atmosphere on the web, outside of technology, despite and within the big siloed platforms. I tell everyone I can about this.
