I thought maybe I was a fan of the Liberals. I have voted for them in the past.
Then came Mark Carney.
I don't know why, somehow I thought he might do good things for us. But I don't feel the Liberals have done much good for Canada since the election a year ago in March 2025.
I certainly don't feel like they've stood up for Canada when it comes to the U.S.
As I get older, I think I need a party that is more left-leaning, and more willing to stand up for Canadians on the world stage. #CanPoli

In slack (we use it at work, not my decision) when you press "@" it pops up a list of users in that channel. Which is great.
If you want the first person listed, you press ENTER since the first name at the top of the popup is the default selection.
If you want the next person down the list, you would think you press DOWN followed by ENTER, but instead the DOWN arrow again re-selects the _first_ name.
I'm constantly getting tripped up by this, that I have to press DOWN one extra time than what I think would be necessary. #slack

At work we have a remote server with some standard remote desktop solution running so we can access devices located behind a firewall.
This desktop is used by many people. Sometimes, people minimize it and don't log out.
These remote desktop solutions allow you to share your clipboard. You can copy files, copy text, and paste which is very convenient.
When you have it minimized on your desktop, people forget it is running. Anything and everything you copy into your clipboard, is inadvertently shared with everyone else using the shared desktop.
Tonight I was trying to paste files related to a new build I need to run, but unaware to me someone else was copying and pasting personal files at home. Several times this evening I ended up pasting their files instead of the build I wanted.
Beware of what you copy-and-paste or cut-and-paste when you have remote desktop software running!
