I decided to turn back time and do #AdventOfCode 2015. I've done through problem 16 so far. OMG these are so fun! They're original. They're a little brain twisty without being out of this world hard.
The last couple of years the problems had been somewhat repetitive - same concept with a different twist. Not that they weren't fun but they were solving the same problem. I hope that with fewer problems we'll get back to more original things.

While I was at #PyOhio I went to hear @itsthejoker@hachyderm.io talk about lambdas. Great talk. Y'all should definitely watch it when the videos are up. As a throwaway at the top of the talk, Joe talked about ~ and using it for simplified list access from the right. I thought it was really cool so I wrote it up. I hope you think it's cool too.

Can I say how awesome it is that I can find an issue, talk to some people and make sure it's not just me, and push up a fix so that other people don't hit the same thing. This is the power of Open Source. This is what makes #Python great.

I have been having so much fun at #PyOhio so far! I didn't manage to go to any talks yesterday other then the keynotes or my own - I was too busy getting myself ready and doing the final things for it - but I have had so many great conversations. Was great being able to hang out with people I had seen but not interacted too much with at #PyConUS. Looking forward to today when I have much less on my plate. Highlights are @itsthejoker@hachyderm.io telling us anout lambdas and @chrisjrn@social.coop 's closing keynote.
