@remi@phpc.social @s_hulard@mamot.fr I disagree with this. It's not a workaround, it's intended. It comes from the same practice being applied to PHP packages, where we pull the source directly, but I still think it should be applied here too.
It's a few Mb, but pulled and pulled again thousands of times it adds up and it's useless, since often they get packed inside stuff like Docker containers.
If I need to read that, I can still go to the source and look at it.
