I reckon it’s a duty of front end devs now to purposely stop supporting Chrome. We need to make sure that the best experience for people using the web is elsewhere and make sure every time a Chrome user has a problem that they’re told to use a different browser. A sort’ve web civil disobedience to try to swing people out of Google’s ecosystem
If you think about it, search is such a hugely important part of using the web that it really should be a public service. Fuck Google, there should be publicly funded search engines, ad free and available to all.

There's also a catch 22 here. Optimising for Chrome users means more users will use Chrome. If you all start to treat Chrome as a second class citizen and the experience is better elsewhere Chrome users will slowly start to shift away. Again, fuck Google, optimise for Firefox
So for front end devs who think they need Chrome to do the job. I haven't had Chrome installed on any of my machines for around the last 4 years. I can do 99% of my work in Firefox and use Chromium on my Linux laptop for the other 1% of testing. Fuck Google and uninstall Chrome.

Also, you can probably write similar for whatever package manager you're using. All these do is grab the GitHub repo details for each dependency, call the GitHub API and get the last 100 commits, then look in the commit messages for the Claude co-author.
It wont give you a definitive list either, because I doubt all the sloperators are adding the co-author to their commits.

I ran these on my work projects and 2 things that stood out is Axios and Guzzle are both accepting vibe coded PRs. That definitely won't be a problem in the future..
I wrote a couple of scripts you can run to check your project dependencies for Claude and maybe get an idea which of the things you rely on are decreasing in quality:

The only game I’ve seen slow down on is Golden Axe: Revenge of the Death Adder, which is a bummer as I was looking forward to playing it. The next thing I wanna do is get a couple of those Sinden light guns for Point Blank

I painted the top half the summer before last, and you can see there’s a definite difference in how much better I am at painting now than I was then
It took me 2 years but I finally finished building my arcade cabinet. I bought pre-cut MDF and painted it and put it together, stuck a 27 inch monitor in there, with an RPi and Mame, then 3D printed plates for the bezel and top attract thingy and yellow screw covers. It’s running really well and the 5 year old is in love with it.

I need to fiddle with the camera controls a bit, yeah, I want a bit of lerping on the roation too. I lost some of that when I upgraded to Cinemachine 3 and I haven't had time to look at it yet.
I saw the fps dip on the explosions too, I think I just need to increase the pool for the effect.
