If the first episode is anything to go by then "Étoile", on Amazon Prime video in the UK is a gem. Brilliant cast, lovely dialogue, good music and dance, nice sets and lighting... I'm loving it.

Working in XCode feels like working in Eclipse a decade ago. Cryptic errors, poor documentation, a mouse focused UI... probably good for insiders and long time users. Utter horror for anyone coming from IntelliJ or VS Code or any modern IDE.

Yesterday, I saw three flags hanging from a bridge over A3 as we drove back home. It was the Union Jack, St George's flag, and the Surrey county flag.
At first I thought it's probably someone's way of celebrating the VE day.
Later I read about Reform announcing those are the only 3 flags they'll allow on their council buildings - particularly not wanting to display Ukraine and Pride flags. Now I _know_ why those flags were there.
