Community outreach with a peach ephemera in a small museum.
I've been given 3 typewriters in the space of a few days without even looking.
1920s-40s Imperial 50, a little rusty and very dirty.
1980s Panasonic daisywheel. Working after reseating the ribbon cartridge.
1970s Olivetti Lettera 32, Spotted by a friend in a charity shop, it did cost £ but gifted to me. Needs a bit of TLC, but working once the missing ribbon spool thumb knob was removed from under the jammed carriage.

I survived the bus. Another car was narrowly missed. The horn was used. Some passengers got off to wait for the next bus. I arrived in record time.
On a bus, front upstairs seat so I'm in charge. Not an electric though.

I've been in a few computer rooms when the power has failed. It's very eerie not hearing the hum of fans. What data did we lose, what essential server won't boot back up? And in one case, who decided the electronic door locks should stay locked with me inside and have they fixed the glitchy halon system.

Yeah, I was a bit worried it was missing one until I found it jamming the carriage! One original metal spool and one plastic.
It's a Barcelona model, 1972 I think. Typical charity shop find - ribbon not fitted properly, the cover was off and the wrong way round, and as with a lot of typewriter cases of that age, the thread on the zip had mostly perished. - added a photo from the shop.

There's a real survey of people who think they can win a no weapons fight against various animals from geese to grizzly bears. The percentages show some people clearly have never seen animals outside of books with cardboard pages.

Also the inconsistencies. Infinite Monkey Cage has a no delay RSS, but You and Yours is only available on BBC Sounds, no RSS at all, and I'd argue that as it's a UK specific topical consumer protection focus show, it should be easily available.
