What started as a figure study turned into a long-form piece of art featuring myself and my best friend @duppydoodles@equestria.social . He's an amazing artist, patient and kind, and he's the best teacher i've been fortunate to have.

If only I would study his techniques more, lol. Been meaning to do a piece like this for a couple of years now, and I think I finally nailed it. Proud to call you family my dude.

A figure study gone off the rails, i made every decision about this piece on the fly. Every single little bit was done by inspiration that appeared randomly as the night went on, including the final setting gifted by my friend @lumiere@hooves.social !! Thank you my friend!!

This piece is in fact a YCH, but that's the figure only. Everything else is adhoc, for which I am very very proud.

Surprising story behind this one. I had a seriously nasty day of depression yesterday and I decided i needed to do some comfort art. The result is this, Starsong resting on a counter top and drinking a cup of coffee.

The reason it's comfort art is that long ago, I decided to learn to draw so I could do 2 things: Sexy pinups, because i've always loved that kind of art, and to be able to show people the images I see in my head.

I've finally come to a point where I feel I can accurately reproduce Starsong in the way I envision her, and that is so good for my brain. Last nights art was therapy, todays completion was a celebration.

Morning, everypony! For like the first time I feel like I got a good nights sleep before dialysis, and thank Tymora I did.

All awake and functional for the filtering makes things surprisingly awesome.

You know, I have a question. It's a little weird, but I'm older and don't quite truck with modern social media. Do people use sites like xitter, mastodon, and bsky to just post random things they're thinking about? Is it like a blog but tiny? I only ever use it to post my art, but I wonder if there is a place here for more personal things. Again, I'm used to chatrooms and forums for socialization, not this kind of media. Would very much like some input from my fellow equestrians- is this the modern incarnation of a forum? Thanks for your replies, if you take the time to do so. I sincerely appreciate it!

Hey guys! I'm still alive, and still making art! I've been practicing my human-ish figures in the recent days, and this piece is the result of the most recent effort!

I think she looks really good here, and several experiments have been done to see how effective the drawing can be, including the addition of eyeshadow and blush, and lots more floof than I tend to use. I love it so far and I expect more in the future!

The fateful meeting...

4:45 in the morning and I'm at Everfree. Holy fuck dialysis has ruined my sleep. =D

Well, it's been a wild couple of weeks. I was finally able to get a stream out tonight, after a week of chaos due to a death in the family. Rest in Peace, grampa.

Finally, things have calmed down to a point where I can start doing creative things again. Tonight, I did a short warmup sketch that turned into an inked piece, lol. Just a cute little Fluttershy doodle I did on stream!
