Re: my tram ticket problem ... putting it another way ... when you go to buy a tram ticket in #Brum or the #BlackCountry be very careful to wait and check the bits of paper being printed by the platform ticket machines. The "ticket" says "TICKET" or some such across the top. The receipt for the money says in small writing at the bottom "this isn't the ticket", or some such. You have to push a wide clear flap to reach into a tray.
Better still imvho pay the tram conductor as soon as you board.
