@gwynnion@mastodon.social Reminds me on how some people want everyone to read the bible because they believe this way everyone will "find" Jesus¹, but for somw people it just means that they notice how God is described as a narcissistic abuser.
¹ Or maybe they mean some other book called Bible, where you are supposed to find Jesus in pictures as if he was Wally.

@mel@metalhead.club Falls dein ME/CFS von Corona ausgelöst wurde, in der Median Klinik in Bad Wildungen habe ich (2023) eine ok Erfahrung gemacht. Es gibt kein Infektionsschnutz mehr, leider, die wissen aber dass es wichtig ist dass man nicht über die Grenzen steigt. Die hören auch Betroffene zu.
Leider gab es da eine Neurologin die auch Querschwurbelin ist, und zu beschäftigt war mich mir ihre Verschwörungstheorien zu missionieren um ihren Job zu machen. Auf der andere Seite konnte ich mich beim Schefartzt beschweren, der es auch ernst genommen hat.

Especially my mother grew up with boundary-stomping parents, and she herself is also like that. Both my parents seem to see me as "lesser than", and as some kind of toy.

@nicosemsrott Meiner erfahrung nach passiert was ähnliches, nur das statt zu sagen "wir müssen uns erst noch sicherer sein dass es Krebs ist" gesagt wird "die Symptome die dafür sprechen dass es Krebs¹ ist bilden sie sich nur ein, und eigentlich haben sie eine Angststörung/es ist Psychosomatisch".
¹ Passiert extrem häufig bei ME, aber nicht nur.

@denschub@mastodon.schub.social Your example reminds me on how at the beginning of ChatGPTs existence, I asked if vampires get swollen feet after standing for too long, because of the lack of a circulatory system. The generated answer was that vampires are imaginary beings, and therefore human physiology can't be applied to them. That is imo a boring but accurate answer.
Some time later it generated something more exiting, that was wat I wished to read, but that felt wrong because depending on the world, vampires either don't have blood, or have some sort of stomach where it's stored.
