@aphyr@woof.group I'm not sure how useful this is but I recently did it just by blocking user agents, I found this big Regex list here. I'm sure there are worse scrapers that aren't announcing themselves but for me it took care of the noticeable issue. using Caddy reverse proxy.

I saw this comment on reddit, this is the best summary I have seen.
Anita Sarkeesian's critique of video games were pretty basic and mid. She was a very young writer at the time, so her analysis where very surface level. Honestly did a pretty bad job at applying what feminist were already saying about movies and representation decades before her. It is trivial to find 1000 other blogs by first year media critic majors what would say the same thing at the time.
But her simplistic argument made her the perfect straw-men for a new political movement looking to harness a new wave of male grievance politics, lead by right wing ghouls such as Steve Bannon and (I FUCKING KID YOU NOT) Jeffrey Epstein. No joke, the Epstein emails contains conversations about how to harness and amplify gamer-gate related rage, and funnel that in to a right wing politics.In the most literal and direct way, Trump is Gamergate. Not 100%, there are other things that Trump is, but it was a pretty big factor. The victim complex that these guys still carry is beyond pathetic. They say of Sarkeesian "she's trying to destroy gaming" or "she hates gamers". They really do see themselves as a minority group that's under attack. It's parallel to the broader "they're trying to destroy the white race" that so many other influencers spread. For these gamers, their masculinity is tied up in their gamer identity, and they feel that they have a divine right to enjoy sexist art. When you try to pin down what the divine source is they get vague. It's "entertainment", it's "a way to escape from the real world". It's a nebulous thing like whiteness itself, it only serves to provide the flimsy scaffold for the rage.

It's legislated, the Uniform Congressional District Act prevents introducing at-large seats where there previously were districts. This could potentially be changed but it would probably be seen as too extreme. Adding more districts is a more viable option in my opinion (increase size of the House).

vax n relax was when the anti-science right wingers and the professionalist libs merged. they joined forces to create a singular vibe of haughty denial, they found one thing they could agree on. as long as it still came in two flavors: vaccine-good and vaccine-bad. maintain the appearance of disagreement while the core belief of anti-masking and anti-maskers could be shared. it was extremely effective, whichever think tank came up with this was so clever. and now the professionalist smarties get to talk down to both the maskers (filling the slot of 'far-left' in the standard liberal mindset), and the ivermectiners (filling the tea party righties obviously).
I keep seeing comments like 'how can we replace Schumer? when can he be primaried?'
The Senate leadership can be changed whenever, they just have to pick somebody else. There is nothing mysterious going on, there's no delayed electoral process that is keeping him there. He's the minority leader because most Senate Democrats support him, that's it.
remember how when AI started replacing everything people were saying that probably services would go down more often, and then github started to go down, and then it just progressively got worse at the same time MS became increasingly Microslop?
