I wonder who will resurrect the ASSv5 project.
I have some suggestions:
Let's use a better name.
It can be funny, fine, but the ass joke got old. Klass? Better Unified Timed Text?
B. Instead of event types per dialogue line, keep a style field and THEN put the event type on the style
It reflects the way people currently organise subtitles, dialogue on their own styles — main, mainalt, top — and typesetting on their own separate styles. Also, style not being a dialogue line tag would require lots and lots of overloads, which has just plain weird and harder to develop tooling around.

It's really funny because lots of characters have names that sound funny in Portuguese:
Lady Lishu -> Lishu sounds exactly the same as Lixo, which is trash. Which is sad, because she's not trash but a cutie patootie.Gaoshun sounds like Gaúcho. Bah tchê!Basen sounds like he would work for Bacen

In the Chinese Uber alternative you can choose what to pay (within a limited range). I regret choosing a number (within the lower range) related to the fascists just so drivers (which are often right-wing) are more likely to accept the ride.

AFAIK UBI does not have one of the issues many people criticize about Bolsa Família: many people claim many people on this program actually defrauded it and don't actually need it, so UBI, having lower requirements, would be easier to manage and to control fraud.
I love those programs! Many right-wingers (and people influenced by them) go against those. I lost count of how many times I heard people saying that those programs make people lazy. No way! I still love them! I went to public college, I got my home with the help of Minha Casa Minha Vida.

@keepassxc Don't worry about that: I'm sure most people would agree with you that doing something like that is overkill for any FOSS project. If you were a per-profit company, sure, but it just makes no sense requiring that from you. Their expectations make absolutely zero sense for me. Donation money should be spent on better things than extra domains.

@faraiwe nixCraft considered people who have to use Windows. I can't use Linux unless I switch jobs since there aren't any good structural analysis software for Linux and DRM makes it impossible to run using Wine/Proton (unless I crack the DRM from them, which seems hard to do). Well, cracking would be great since I have to carry those Sentinel USB keys around and I hate that. I already tried dual booting, but that didn't work for me, and even if it did work, that's why nixCraft recommended that script.
To be fair, this kind of comment makes those discussions boring. Who's the one that will start coding an alternative to Tekla, Autodesk's Robot or SAP2000 for Linux? I can help, but I can't work on it full time.

@wikipedia to be fair I liked the mobile layout even on non-mobile devices: it was a quick solution for, during a presentation "let me check Wikipedia in a sec", add a little zoom and a clean layout to present. :HoloHmmm:
