I NEVER remember until it's too late. If I have the smallest contact with poison ivy, and if I don't immediately scrub my entire body with Tecnu (which is a game changer), It will go systemic. Case in point, I brushed my left arm against poison ivy last week and didn't notice until there was a pronounced bump and a diagonal line of tiny bumps right next to it. Right now, my arms and legs are a mass of red lines that look like I've been cutting myself. My fucking underboobs are red and inflamed. Doctor called in a prednisone prescription and I'm coated in hydrocortisone spray. I hate summer.

One of my coworkers read the directions for a frozen snack. It said to microwave it for 15 seconds. She decided the directions were wrong and left it on for 3 minutes.

Well, now I know we have a problem with the building's smoke detectors. Yay?

Praise an abundance of air filters! It might smell normal in here by tomorrow.

Six months in Covid lockdown, I stumbled upon a novel by Natalie Zina Walschots. Hench is the story of a woman who starts temp work through an agency staffing support roles for villains (her specialty is data analytics).

It quickly became one of my all time favorite novels. I’ve probably either read or listened to at least twice a year.

The sequel finally came out this morning.

Why yes, I AM taking off tomorrow.
