The reciever in the original units are Motorola Oncore M12, but plenty have something newer in them.

@benjojo there's also what subset of routes a network might advertise to the route servers. AS15169 at the time I was its routing czar advertised the minimum reachability subset intended to shift traffic via other paths as long as they existed (I know the policy has changed a few times since I handed off that role)
