@onpaperwings @nicksherman I really like the “powers of” naming system. 1x 2x 4x 8x. I think it also explains the underlying system of the design where each font is ideally suited for twice the point size as the next.

@tphinney @klim There is a variable version which can obviously be anything. The idea behind the typeface was 5 sizes that all relate to each other to have a “packaged hierarchical system in one typeface”
Dan’s approach is my favorite so far. I like the idea of “powers of” kinda like a microscope or the Eames’ film.

Are the Enfilade optical size names confusing?
There are 5 optical sizes—each one meant to be used at half the point size of the previous. Right now, it’s:

Micro
Would I be better off using some sort of numeral system to indicate their order? Something like:

I’ve been trying to fulfill my wife’s kickstarter today and halfway through buying labels, Shopify has a popup that says I need to give them photos of my ID and a selfie; I said no—for obvious reasons—and now our account is frozen.
Am I wrong to not want to do this?
