@halfy@mastodon.half-shot.uk A friend had a third party switch 2 USB-c dock from AliExpress here a while ago. Many there claim to be compatible. Some then actually are I think 🙈.

@brauner Does this handle the case of long running processes (>= 18 years of uptime) automatically being allowed to create files already or should this be added as a followup? I think this would really reduce the overhead of having to manually set a birthdate for long running processes.

@jaywink uv is *nice*, I guess, but it also does a thousand things I don't really need. I'm far more concerned about what'll happen to ruff, which is, IMO, soo incredibly better than any other existing linter.

Anyone needs a European Sleeper night train ticket from Brussels to Berlin for tomorrow Wednesday the 4th of February? I cannot take the train, I can't cancel the ticket but it's transferable.
