Hot take: The biggest hurdle in not making projects be all about frameworks and JavaScript might not be developers but recruiters slapping "React" on everything.
I just got a version of my CV sent back to me where the recruiter du jour added JavaScript and Vue.js as essential parts of a Jekyll website 😂 (No Vue and as little JS as possible were used)

@afewbugs I think it is really good to talk about these things. Women’s health issues are not talked about enough in my opinion. There was nothing in your original message that seemed pushy at all! People who don’t feel like the target audience of a message should learn to stop centering themselves to be honest, there will never be a one size that fits all. Don’t be discouraged from helping people! (I’m not the target audience for cups either, but I want people to have the option and info!)

@ashur@front-end.social i thought of something like this https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/8d09f091064248b8b027ea3e93be2fea (a shortcut) adding a ‘repeat’ and ‘wait’ x minutes in between wrapped in an automation around it to kick it off whenever the phone connects to your home wifi perhaps to keep it localised. (You don’t need to know about the windows when you’re out I suppose)

@adrian@mastodon.design ja echt verschrikkelijk. Als je klantenservice al meteen reageert met ‘er heeft iemand vast een typfout gemaakt’ weet je dat je niet de enige ben. Er zijn dus een berg bedrijven dagelijks die gratis hun pakje versturen ten koste van bedrijven die extra betalen en het niet merken
Als je een zakelijke account hebt met postnl, let dan even op. Ik krijg nu voor de tweede keer in twee maanden een factuur voor pakketten die ik niet verstuurd heb. Blijkbaar als iemand bij het pakketpunt een typefout maakt in het klantnummer wordt de zending zomaar aan die andere account gekoppeld die er dan voor kan betalen. Wat een fail

@bert_hubert it’s not the thing where, when she is in a call she can set the volume specifically for that output? As in, if I change the volume now outside of a call, it will not do anything for the volume level of the sound _of_ a call.
