It’s Seattle’s own Jimothy! I have a small stack of them cut out from 16 gauge steel. Would anyone be interested for $30 plus shipping? North America only for now, sadly. DM me an email address if you want one! I’ll update this post if I run out.

I can't read the name Warsh without hearing it like Delmar O'Donnell in "O Brother Where Art Thou" saying 'washed'. "The preacher done warshed away all my sins and transgressions!"

I was going to read The Odyssey before I saw the movie but what the fuck is this???? It’s just squiggly lines! How did they make this into a movie?!?!?

I have a Gmail account but I almost never use it. I logged in for the first time in ages today to send a test email, and what the fuck? The site is almost unusable now. I was getting absolutely devastating lag when typing in a shitty little floating compose box. How did it get this bad?

This is going to sound like I'm making it up, but I swear it happened. Around 2006 I was shown "American Movie" by some friends. I knew nothing about it, so the entire time I was watching it I assumed it was a "Spinal Tap" style mockumentary. It was hilarious, I kept thinking "man, the writing and acting are SO GOOD!" After it was over and I mentioned this, my future husband just stared at me and said "... uh, no, that was a...

“You know what, Stuart? I like you. You're not like the other people, here, in the trailer park. Oh, don't go get me wrong, they're fine people, they're good Americans! But they're content to sit back, maybe watch a little ‘Mork and Mindy’ on channel 57, maybe kick back a cool Coors 16-ouncer... They're good, fine people, Stuart. But they don't know what the queers are doing to the soil!”

I love flux core welding, it's so underrated. It's fun! It's also super fucking dirty, but then again, it's fun. Did I mention it's fun? Also dirty.

I finally got a set of pallet forks for my mini track loader at an auction. I’ve been looking for like six months, I guess the supply dried up over the winter! Ironically, they came strapped down to a pallet, so it would have been really useful to have some pallet forks to lift them off the truck with.

"Yeah but it's really good at programming", dude I don't fucking care. I don't actually think that's true, but it doesn't matter whether it's true or not because the collateral damage is TOO MUCH. AI is destroying the internet, it's destroying people's brains, data centers are tearing apart communities, it's killing the supply chain, and you don't care because you feel productive? Go fuuuuuck yourse...

I’m kind of excited about this huge patch of blackberry I found on our property. It’s not the invasive “Himalayan” blackberry that takes over and kills everything else, this is actually the native kind, Rubus ursunus, called trailing blackberry or California blackberry. I can eat it without guilt!

I’m still on my “native plants” kick. I will have to soften my stance though, because the more I look the more I realize that getting rid of ALL non-native plants on our property is just a pipe dream. That ship sailed 200 years ago. All I can do is tackle the noxious weeds as best I can, and encourage native plants as best I can.

My first welding cut-and-etch test! :D This is MIG on quarter inch steel: Excellent penetration on the weld on the right, I’m happy with that.

I really really want a small dump trailer, like a 5 x 10, but MY GOD they are astronomically expensive. You basically cannot find one for under $5,000 here in any condition, and they quickly go up. I can't afford that! I'm not made of money! 😩

This is what marriage records looked like in Québec in 1916. My ancestor is on this page! (I really don't feel like I'm doxxing myself here 😅) The handwriting is super difficult for me to read, there are some words I can't figure out, but mostly I can read it, avec difficulté!

I’m now officially half the person I used to be. I weighed 365 pounds in 2018, and as of today I weigh 182 pounds. Holy cow! I can stand up and walk for hours and not even be uncomfortable.

Québécois French sure sounds different 😰 Also, never forget: Le mot «gosse» signifie «enfant» en France et «couille» au Québec. (The word “gosse” means “kid” in France, and “testicle” in Québec) “Hey, do you want to see a picture of my kids?”

I'll probably never be able to afford to retire, but I can damn sure try to find ways of making money that make me feel good, even if the money is just barely enough to live on. That's my goal.
