I’m still on my “native plants” kick. I will have to soften my stance though, because the more I look the more I realize that getting rid of ALL non-native plants on our property is just a pipe dream. That ship sailed 200 years ago. All I can do is tackle the noxious weeds as best I can, and encourage native plants as best I can.

    @tilton The only native plant that seems to thrive in my yard is poison ivy. All of my other native plants are weak! So weak. But we'll keep trying!

    @tilton that's all ya can do really! Though to be fair, if you have a super luscious and nice and thriving range of natives then they may be able to actually take-on and out-compete invasives! But vs grass etc? heh nah.. Hope you can keep this up! I'd love to do more native stuff but it's so damn hard to grow. X> Tho I've only tried by seed before. I just need to get some plants that are already going.
