@GroupNebula563@mastodon.social @VoicesOfTheVoid @thawkade now I'm wondering / trying to imagine what less-anthro and more overly "feral"-shaped Protogen / Sergals / etc would look like.

What do y'all like to see in #Introduction posts? What's good to include? Skip? This sort of ice-breaker "who/what am I/etc" question is always kinda nerve-wracking xD I just came to the realization I never actually wrote an intro post so I wanted to correct that. Thanks all for any tips/tricks.

Day started off bad w/a nightmare the FBI was coming after me / the company or school I was a part of or something. Was super slow to get my ass in gear due to that but eventually got electrical project I wanted to wrap up in the garage done, as well as put away the zillion tools I had out from some other projects I’ve been working on this week. So that’s all nice and clean and tidy. And got some shopping done for the lil grilling out I also did w/some friends over, checking out our chicks 🐥

Attention folks living in #Wisconsin / #Milwaukee / users of/in/around I-794 / #I794 Check out the Spring 2026 meeting materials and fill out the feedback/survey/form: https://www.794lakeinterchange.wisconsindot.gov/i794outreach#publicMeetings Need to tear this scar out of our city! Gosh I hope this thing gets removed. Can't stand the division / disconnection it causes, and the cars flying off ramps and how unsafe it makes the street grid. Also can't stand how they keep cooking...

Any bar with vinyl plank flooring I detest and wanna run so far away from. Hotel rooms too. Has that cheap hose-it-down airBNB feeling that I just cannot relax in.

Any good solar array calculators out there? Ones where I can plug in my location so the amount of sun / angle etc can be figured out and I can input dimensions of different arrays / efficiency % etc and get potential output of the system? Bonus points if I can size in different amounts of battery to try to figure out the minimum solar and/or battery to try to tide over the most extreme scenarios over yr? Searching online just comes up with a BUNCH of junk. This feels like a solved issue tho.

"When the systemic problems are so big that nothing feels like it makes a difference anymore, the only thing left to do is to simply pour your passion into something that will stand out to others and hopefully be an inspiration to them." 1000% feel this. What's the stupid easiest way of converting HDMI/Displayport/DVI/VGA (any one of those) to a Component (YPbPr) video signal? Least amount of input/display/processing lag. Least amount of conversion artifacts / signal degradation. Least amount of heartache/headache when different resolutions are spat out by the source (1920x1080 down to 640x480?) I guess the other option: what's the last / best video card w/it built in? Seems to be Radeon HD 4850/4870?

One of those days where you have a single project/task in mind, and just to accomplish it you spend all day doing a zillion other things just to get there/ make it work X> jfc. Not sure if I should've live-tooted the pain or try to hold it back.

Anyone else notice this terrible new feature in #GitHub where you click on an issue link/ref and instead of it opening the page/tab anymore, it opens it in this horrendous like mini-viewer/page within the previous page you were on. ANY way to revert this behavior / disable it? Tampermonkey script? I wanna click the link and it open a new page or tab, not open this horrendous in-page/same-page view of it.

Anyone use rechargeable 9V batteries before? Any success stories? Bewares? So many no-name brands. So many made-up specs. How’s one to choose? Kinda like the idea of the ones with the included USB-C. Probably eats into room for battery (and capacity) but at least don’t need some one-off charger.

Is there a way in OpenStreetMaps to hide like all layers but ONLY show dedicated sidewalks / trails / paths? (not sidewalks that are part of streets).
