  #TIL: `git add --intent-to-add`. Signals, well, an intent to add a file. Importantly, this means `git diff` will diff it against an empty file, allowing for a more complete working tree patch such as: git add --intent-to-add .   Your occasional reminder that Signal's "Note to Self" feature is always there as a convenient interchange for getting information (URL, text dump, etc) between your phone and laptop, when other interchange formats are being stupid, which is directly proportional to how badly you need the information on the other device.
