My house has a Chamberlain garage door opener, which has Security+ 2.0 DRM on both the wireless AND WIRED (i.e. the button you press which goes to the device a few feet away) sides... you know, for the children. And not for vendor lock-in. That DRM has been defeated, and there's a local IoT device I have connected to my Home Assistant, called ratgdo (which I later learned stands for Rage Against the Garage Door Opener) with firmware to use MQTT or ESPHome. Today I switched it from the former to the latter and discovered the ESPHome firmware has a lot more functionality. Turns out the GDO's firmware stores the number of times it has ever been operated, and for my opener, that's 8,850. That's 8,850 up and 8,850 down. Security+ 2.0 was introduced in 2011 but I suspect the current opener was installed in 2015 or so, so that's over twice per day for over a decade.
