  Will see how it goes next week but so far it seems that by far the biggest problem in my Linux journey will be hibernation. Not only that it seems to be rather complex setup (e.g., I found this for my Mint https://github.com/linuxmint/linuxmint/issues/852), but that hibernation is done in swap file/partition, so there is no way to guarantee that it will not fail became swap was too full. #Linux #MintLinux #LinuxJourney #hibernate

  Oh no, perl's Tk has broken on me again 😱 I really hoped that #LinuxJourney will absolve me from mysteriously uninstallable perl dependencies, but nooooo.   If I'm a smart person, I'll never again plan sewing any larger black project in the winter, when there is very little natural light available to me. Only time will tell, if l'm a smart person. I also recently have learned that I find it easier to handstitch things I can barely see than machinestitch. Might be partially related to lighting conditions I have, but I doubt it's the only thing. #sewing

  It seems that Hamachi is absolute shit on Fedora and I need something else. The aim? Bring 5 tired peeps from around the world and from different OS in a simulated LAN to play Terraria (Gog/Steam crossplay), HOMM3 and whatnot. Super simple config is a must. My first thoughts that I can't possibly be fast enough to intervene – either Bella will kill it, or it wil on fly away, or it will run under some furniture and hide. AFAIK beatles around here are dangerous to cats, but maybe, just maybe it can pinch her and scare her a bit. I returned to work with...

  After almost a weak of #CatDuty in the situation where one cat is anxy and clearly wanting attention yet being unable to just calmly recieve it and others might feel underappreciated and reserved due to the extra attention given the anxy cat... I reflexively petted my friend's cat Pūka (completely unrelated to Duty cats) almost aggressively just because she came to sit by me. For several seconds Pūka was very "da faq, hooman?" and then she ran away. Ops.

  Today on #CatDuty. I got kicked in vulva by Čalis (OG Not My Mum's Cat) jumping after sausage.   #CatDuty Yesterday late someone outside was screaming bloody murder, I pleaded my SO to go check whaaat is going on. The OG Not My Mom's Cat was defending the territory from some other black cat. When I reported this to my mom she said that, yes, they have long-standing feud with the Black Knight. My SO said some words to Black Knight, and apparently those were quality words, because an hour later Not My Mom's Cat came home to have a nap on a warm pillow. Also, it was a rather cold night...

  #CatDuty continues. Bella and Bolte, the almost adult catgirls, seems to have some kind of agreement who gets which human. Eh, I get the anxy ants-in-the-pants karate cat and my partner gets pet-me-till-your-hands-fall-off cat. Bella almost kicked my webcam off, while trying to find a good spot in my lap in front of my laptop. But we also had several hours of cats napping on various pillows and me trying to work instead of following their lead.

  #CatDuty episode 2. While I was away, kitteens have lost privileges to certain rooms at night or when nobody is in there, but the pee situation has been good for three months. They are also discovered the joys of toilet fishing, so the lid must be closed at all times. They have also grown. Full sized cats! Also, both mom and cats have discovered the delights of certain rituals and order of things.

  Every year in the first couple free days of May my town has a huge plant (specifically for replanting, is there an English word for that?) selling market. For some unknown (for me) reason, it is particularly popular with Estonians and Finnish. It is way too much people for my tastes, but I like how it allows me to start the spring with replenishing my balcony pots – fresh herbs, new summer flowers, everything I need at one place. For me this event is the real start of warm season.

  My old friend looks ridiculously cute gigging at his 3 months old baby. Even someone as childaverse as me gets a bit charmed. Also the said baby has not yet learned to grab glasses, that's also very charming.
