After almost a weak of #CatDuty in the situation where one cat is anxy and clearly wanting attention yet being unable to just calmly recieve it and others might feel underappreciated and reserved due to the extra attention given the anxy cat... I reflexively petted my friend's cat Pūka (completely unrelated to Duty cats) almost aggressively just because she came to sit by me. For several seconds Pūka was very "da faq, hooman?" and then she ran away. Ops.
