It seems that Hamachi is absolute shit on Fedora and I need something else. The aim? Bring 5 tired peeps from around the world and from different OS in a simulated LAN to play Terraria (Gog/Steam crossplay), HOMM3 and whatnot. Super simple config is a must. No registration in a service – preferred. Any advice? Sadly getting everyone physicaly in the same room is not an option. That&#39;s why we want to do it. #LinuxGaming #AdviceWelcomed

I... learned that all the VPN stuff is quite complex. And that every service who simplify that wants me to register, preferably with a very official account I don't have, and all in all, it is quite finicky. For now I solved my problem finding a docker version of Terraria and deploying it on my friend's server I'm invited to co-admin. For future tho? I mighty want to learn to set up my own VPN, because EF! THIS! BS! #LinuxGaming

@laumapret@toot.lv Sounds like a job for #tailscale … however, iirc their free plan allows for three users, so it might need a paid plan. I think there was a note about them potentially double the amount of free users, but I’m not 100% sure.
