Gary, Indiana is 77% percent Black. Tens of thousands of people have been without power for nearly two weeks. Many are without safe water as well. Yet every data center is up and running. Using enormous amounts of both power and water to enrich the billionaire owners. This is what oligarchy looks like. Everyone suffers so the 1% can make even more. #uspol #oligarchy #poverty #abolishbillionaires #indiana #gary #datacenters

Healthcare is suicide prevention. Housing is suicide prevention. Childcare is suicide prevention. Universal basic income is suicide prevention. When we ensure people have their basic needs met, mental health improves.

This is how you manufacture consent for eugenics. This is how you convince the general public that the disabled and elderly are expendable. This is what happens when you put capitalism and the economy above human lives. Covid isn’t over. People are still “falling by the wayside” every day. Fauci deemed us expendable. We are NOT expendable. #fauci #uspol #eugenics #ableism #disability #covidisnotover

I can’t get my baseline back. Whenever I think I’m making progress and try and do something, I get smacked down. If it’s not PEM, it’s an infection. Then the infection triggered anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis triggers cardiac issues. On and on and on. Feeling defeated and alone.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and messages … I was about to start replying when the building next door to me caught fire. Flames 4 stories tall. As I said, it’s just one thing after another. One step forward and soooo many leaps back. Thankfully no one was hurt but the building was very old and so there was likely lead and asbestos being burned. The smoke was thick and triggered anaphylaxis again. 7 out of the last 8 nights I’ve been in anaphylaxis. Fighting to breathe. Covered...

Someone needs to tell the US Senate and MAGA that almost every single country had vaccine mandates and lockdowns. It’s not unique to America. No other country is attempting to persecute the doctors in charge of public health. Also, COVID isn’t over. Wear a mask. Get your boosters. Clean the air. #uspol #CovidIsNotOver #fauci #publichealth #wearamask

“You’re not fun anymore” This was one of the last things a friend said to me before ghosting me over my disabilities & covid caution. My wearing a mask? Not fun My being bedbound? Not fun My inability to travel? Not fun She then said “I don’t know how you can live this way” Almost everyone with chronic illness experiences this at some point. Many ableds want us to hide our disabilities. They want us to be the same as we were before because it makes things more comfortable for them...

Imagine if we just believed disabled people? If we trusted that they were the experts in their bodies? If we listened when they said they could do something, and supported them when they said they couldn’t. If we gave accommodations and assistance without judgment? That’s true inclusion. #disability #ableism #chronicillness #eugenics #inclusion

My disability impacts my proprioception… meaning I’m constantly bumping & banging into things. A few weeks ago I developed a nasty foot infection, and two days ago I sliced open my hand cutting the gauze FOR the foot infection. Chronic illness is no joke. If I owe you a reply or an email, this is why I’m late. My gauze paw is slowing me down! PS… when dealing with chronic illness it’s important to have a well stocked first aid kit! Mine is a first aid bin… it’s one of those large und...

We had 6 years to adopt clean air standards We had 6 years to normalize masking Society chose denial instead Now as wildfires rage & the air turns to poison … people are left unprotected Covid cautious folks are still trying to protect those who’ve ignored them for years We are still trying to arm people with the tools they need to keep themselves and their families healthy. We’re handing out N95s. We’re supporting mask blocs. We’re teaching people how to build corsi Rosenthal box...

Law enforcement agents are trained NOT to shoot the driver of a vehicle because of the danger the vehicle poses to everyone nearby. ICE thugs continuously shoot at people behind the wheel. Today’s statement from DHS should be considered an admission of murder. The driver wasn’t trying to run over the ICE agent. He was trying to flee. You can’t shoot to kill because someone is trying to get away. It’s murder. #uspol #abolishice #immigration #fascism

They kidnapped and terrorized Liam Ramos, a little boy in a blue bunny hat. They’ve ripped newborns from their mother’s arms. Today they forced a little girl with a pink backpack to watch her father die. They shot him right in front of her. It’s Disability Pride Month and I’m mourning one of our elders…. Alice Wong. Every year on July 1st she would talk about disabled rage. She would remind us that it’s ok to be angry at the eugenicist, capitalist, patriarchal system we’re trapped in. She would encourage us to embrace our disabilities AND our anger. She would give us permission to be our true selves… to refuse to hide for the comfort of others. She passed away last November but left an indelible mark on our community. I...

I’ve had a huge health setback following my move. My level of function is half what it was before. The hospital said they would connect me with “resources” to assist with activities of daily living. There’s a 1.5 year wait list. MAiD was offered in under a month. I don’t want to die. I don’t want to allow the government to euthanize me. But this is eugenics I’m always talking about. I need assistance to survive. Help with cooking & cleaning. The supports don’t exist unless y...

Nothing prepares you for the loneliness that comes with being chronically ill. The grief of realizing the medical system can’t (or won’t) help you. The pain of being abandoned by family & friends. The isolation of knowing we’re in a eugenics nightmare that most don’t see until it’s too late. #disability #eugenics #ableism #chronicillness

I’ve got a friend who was non functional after a few hours with a GI bug. I gently pointed out their symptoms matched the ones I deal with every single day. Their response? “You’re used to it. It’s not the same”. That’s how disabled people are treated in a nutshell. Our suffering is minimized. The ableds suffering is always worse. Always more severe. Always “worthy” of pity. Always random and never their fault. Our suffering is something to be adapted to. Something we could fix if w...

Folks need to recognize how much transphobia is driving the debate over the girl dad in the women’s washroom. People have been so conditioned to hate and fear trans people that they now see bathrooms as a “sacred space” such that they will endanger kids to prove a point. This is where hate and division lead. A few years ago no one would have thought twice about a man bringing his two young daughters into the women’s washroom. But years of trans hatred and fear mongering mean people beli...

New modeling from The Lancet suggests the USAID funding cuts will kill 14 million people. Many of them are children. 600,000 have already died. The man who gutted the program? Elon Musk. The world’s first trillionaire. He has a trillionaire dollars and is murdering the poorest people on earth. He should be in jail. Billionaires and trillionaires should not exist in a world where millions die from poverty every year. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/langlo/article/PIIS2214-109X%28...

People who are disabled, poor or on fixed incomes should be allowed nice things. Society acts as though anyone receiving assistance should be forced to make do with the bare minimum ALL the time. It’s suffering as a policy choice. It’s cruel and unnecessary.

A reminder that you should stop using period tracker apps. Keep that stuff to yourself. Track it on paper. Stock up on birth control & emergency contraception if you can. Having mifepristone on hand would be good too. Even if you don’t need it, you will be in a position to help someone who does. If you need to travel out of State for healthcare, make arrangements offline. If you can assist someone who needs to travel out of State, do so discretely. If you’ve had an abortion, don’...

ICE shot a journalist in the leg. A journalist. They’re shooting people who are there to cover the protests as an essential part of the freedom of the press and the right to free speech. It was apparently a “less lethal” round (ie rubber bullets) yet emergency surgery is required. This regime has already silenced so many journalists. Kicked them out of the Oval Office and filled it with “friendlies” (ie propagandists). These are dark times: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/ju...

Anyone can become disabled. Anyone can lose their job. Anyone can become homeless. Anyone can go hungry. These are not moral failings. They can happen in an instant. Most people are far closer to living in poverty than they realize. We must fight for one another & for the most vulnerable.

Trying to move into a new apartment while mostly bedbound is nearly impossible. I would not be doing it if I had any other choice. Baseline is shattered. Budget is decimated from all the surprise expenses, many of which are related to my poor health. It’s another example of the “crip tax” that we don’t talk about enough. Disabled people desperately need safe, secure and affordable housing. Control over one’s environment is essential when you’re chronically ill. Housing insecurity worsens overall health. We could easily provide for everyone, but ableism makes society blame the sick instead.

Marimar Martinez was the first US citizen shot by ICE. They claimed she was a terrorist. Said she was brandishing a weapon. They lied. Video footage exonerated her and showed the ICE agent shot her five times. He bragged to other agents “five shots, 7 holes”. Silverio Villegas González was an undocumented immigrant who was shot and killed at close range while allegedly trying to flee. He was dragged from his vehicle at a traffic stop after dropping his children off at school. The bull...

Today marks the five year anniversary of Covid being declared a pandemic. Some things I want people to remember: The threat is not gone. People are still dying and becoming disabled every single day COVID is airborne. It’s always been airborne. Droplet transmission was pushed incorrectly & then doubled down on for economic reasons. If governments admit it’s airborne, they have to spend money upgrading air quality and providing respirators etc. The only way to avoid Long Covid is to...
