@cdarwin@c.im that is fine, take the land back off of them, don't refund what they paid for it, plant new trees and maybe they'll follow the procedure next time. Unless there is real punishment every single company will do this knowing they can get away with it. Maybe throw in a $1B USD fine as well.

It's the UBS, Cisco Systems, NetApp, Lenovo, Biogen, Foundation Medicine, Novonesis, Delta Electronics and Fidelity Investments data center campuses, their parkings lots plus a bunch of forest, lakes and swamp that the tech park's zoning laws forced preservation or reinstatement. 300 hectares is not a small or even moderate project. It's HUGE. #environment #destruction #DataCentres #ClimateCrisis

I know it’s a big ask and can seem pointless, but if enough people joined in it would have an effect. Same goes for the others.
