@cdarwin@c.im This is what 300 hectares of North Carolina's Research Triangle Park looks like. It's the UBS, Cisco Systems, NetApp, Lenovo, Biogen, Foundation Medicine, Novonesis, Delta Electronics and Fidelity Investments data center campuses, their parkings lots plus a bunch of forest, lakes and swamp that the tech park's zoning laws forced preservation or reinstatement. 300 hectares is not a small or even moderate project. It's HUGE. #environment #destruction #DataCentres #ClimateCrisis
