@minmi@sfba.social @ireneista@adhd.irenes.space my mom (also normie) asked me to put Linux on her new laptop (of course it happened to be a model with buggy firmware and no quirk in the kernel yet so I had lots of fun(?) debugging that and finding a reliable workaround)
