  For #Codeberg members: In the wake of finding my software in The Stack I'm going to raise the issue of requiring FLOSS licenses when FLOSS licenses grant access to any use-case, when I (and I suspect other devs) want to be able to use licenses that forbid AI training.   #EMFCamp :boost_requested:​ This is a ridiculously long shot but I met someone at camp then met them again the next day (or was it the day after?) and my brain had a ridiculously embarassing DID/faceblindness "do I know you?" moment. A shame because I don't think we ran into each other at camp afterwards 😭. I was the person in a labcoat and glowing cat ears (which I think narrows it down enough to recognise me).   "ai is inevitable" "ai is here to stay" etc etc etc even when it heats up the planet even when it causes suicides even when it eats up ram like potato chips who says it is inevitable? who says it is here to stay? are they the ones pushing it everywhere, by any chance? because at the end of the day it is a giant computer there must be an "off" button somewhere what, exactly, stops us from pressing it?
