I've been enjoying my time on Mastodon far more than my time on Bluesky lately. Think I'm going to stick around for a bit and invest some effort into this platform. It's just a different vibe. I feel like there's fewer "talkers" and more "doers" here. People building tools and communities, trying to actually change stuff and get involved. Not just bitching online and looking to "debate" people. Just some thoughts as I flip between the two services on my phone.

@CarlWatkins@mastodon.social I tried both after I was hacked and barred from Meta. I posted the same stuff to both but got zero engagement at Bluesky so I gave up after some months.

Even BS, because multiple sources permit a synthesis of information, and every service might not fail all at once, giving time to communicate vital information.

@CarlWatkins@mastodon.social I definitely agree with you about the vibe on Mastodon, but Bluesky is useful to have around. On my phone, I use @openvibe@mastodon.social , which allows me to have both in a single app and timeline 😎
