Il ricorso è al Giudice di Pace di Bressanone Vandoies, a complaint filed regarding the large sign "Tyrol"; the restriction of freedom of expression is being challenged. A fine of 430 euros for displaying a giant "Tirol" sign with the Austrian flag, 60 meters from the roadway, on one’s property. The lawyer, Nicola Canestrini, argues that it is not advertising or a traffic hazard, but a cultural expression linked to the historical identity of the territory.
