Fire primaries
I see that many pigeons recently have started saying that the PNRR was brought to Italy by Gualtieri: it is a lie in order not to admit that the architect was Conte. What does Gualtieri have to do with it?

Dear reader, at the time Gualtieri was Minister of Finance and he was probably in Brussels – but nevertheless played only a supporting role – during those three days and three nights when Conte alone, against the northerners and the “frugal” ones, obtained the creation of the Recovery Fund, which then crystallized into the PNRR, 209 billion euros (recalculated to around 190 after the strong growth of the Italian GDP in 2021). Italy was the biggest beneficiary of that first – and perhaps last – case of shared debt, i.e., common European bonds called by another name. Returning to Italy, Conte was greeted with a standing ovation in Parliament (the only ones who didn’t applaud were Meloni and Salvini). They paid him honor both opponents like Renzi and Ing. Debenedetti, as well as unmotivated figures against him such as David Sassoli, Merkel and Macron, who admired his tenacity and intelligence. Gualtieri has little or nothing to do with it. As you observe, attributing the merit of the Recovery Fund to him is false and instrumental. But you know, the battle for the broad front primaries is already raging hot, after the Pagnoncelli poll on Corriere della Sera, according to which Conte would win the runoff with 59% against 41% of Schlein. It’s not a decimal point, but an abyssal distance. And even 20% of the pigeons would vote for Conte and his pacifist theses. You can imagine how much bile is circulating in the Pd headquarters: it's pointless to give you names, it's the entire nomenclature.
The article “Fiery Primaries” appears to be the first on LA NOTIZIA.
