A few years ago, I was asking for help in counting the number of characters in responses so that I could get the average response length for each respondent, and some power user gave me a miracle formula that only had to be pasted in the top cell of a column. It started "=let" and included stuff like "wraprows" and "reduce" and "lambda" and "Σ." I never understood it, but it worked for me then and I used it for several years.
