This would be my favourite #SiloArt installation in the 12 years we have been travelling. Karoonda, South Australia. (Misspent youth on a sheep property in the far west of NSW in the 60's) At night there is a projection displayed on the "blank canvas" section of the silos (not shown here). Hi everybody. I haven't made this clear before, but my name is Wayne, and I'm the a/g President of the Australian Democrats - South Australian Division. I'm pondering whether or not I should run in the upcoming South Australian elections. There are ... obstacles. Because of recent issues I'm in the process of re-building the Division, of which only the barest of bones remain. This means that we are not currently registered as a formal political Party with the SA Electoral Commission. So if I ran, it would be as independent, while committing to the policy/positions of Australian Democrats. I'd need to find 250 people to fill out a form indicating support. What I'd like from you is your thoughts on the feasibility of doing so. Sort of consulting "the wisdom of the crowd" so to speak. So have at it, what do you think? Is there any residual awareness of the Australian Democrats? Is there an appetite for another centre/progressive minor party? You can find some info at the Aus Dems web site: https://www.democrats.org.au/ although I should point out the site is undergoing a much needed update, but it's not going to kick in for a couple of weeks yet. The 100-year-old East Terrace #Adelaide playground to be ripped up and moved for Malinauskas's MotoGP "The Glover Playground on the corner of East Terrace and Wakefield Street in Adelaide was opened by the Governor-General Lord Forster and Lord Mayor Charles Glover on September 11, 1925. Adelaide City Council revamped the playground in 2018, and now, due to the State Government securing the MotoGP using the city's Formula 1 city circuit, this historic play space is to be moved. This time around conman 'Santos' Malinauskas is *promising* 'Land and Houses', just like he promised to "fix the ramping" last time around.. 🤣 Maybe if we all believe him "this time around" that "this time will be different", eh? 🙄 lol! 🤣😆🤣 A vote for Labor SA is a vote for more: Santos Algal Bloom, more conman Malinauskas wining & dining the saudi's, more Adelaide Parklands destroyed, more Hospital Ramping (which was his primary promise to 'solve' last time around & failed), more spruiking the failed outdated subs #AUKUS contract which plans to dump nuclear waste at Osborne, more protest & human-rights banning, more visiting genocidists wined & dined, more Israeli-Lobby Appeasement, and more spruiking Santos Contracts for Malinauskas's family-run toxic fossil fuel company Santos (with brother Rob on the board).
