#Writing Breaking Red also means updating some pictures for #SecondLife.
These are the winners of the Ice Cream Bucket Challenge at Gwen & Cherry's. Two of them feature in my books. One of them nobody has met. And one more will get a cameo.
Top row: Gwen and Roy (aka Sweet and Mr. Cowboy Hat)
Bottom row: Aggi & Dai.
Rowan also won the challenge, but refused to let them take his photo. I'm debating making one anyway.

I was trying to dress for SL23B's Golden Age of Hollywood theme, but can't get the lighting right for this look. I give up.

Part 14 of Elven Truths is up! The ambassador is back home, so the underlings are in charge of both the embassy and the column! Kip is apparently hungry.

Image is of Prince Elorhyn, who is also on the list of forbidden column topics. They couldn't even add him to the list.

A splash from the past before diving into a brand-new season of pool reviews.
A year later, and these pools are still making a splash.
With summer back in Second Life, I realised this little review from last year is still surprisingly relevant. All three pools are still available, still gorgeous, and still excellent excuses to spend an afternoon pretending your avatar actually enjoys sunscreen.
Before I do a brand-new round of pool reviews for 2026 (yes, I’ve already got a few candidates lined up), I thought this one deserved another moment in the sun. If you’re looking for a pool for your home, your beach club, or just somewhere to float dramatically while contemplating your inventory, these are still well worth a look.
And don’t worry… more pools are coming soon. Someone has to do the research of deciding which virtual swimming pool deserves the title of Summer 2026 champion!
