One of the Maggie's Scotties in the City sculptures in front of the entrance to the catacombs in the Necropolis in Glasgow. Designed by Adam Wright, it represents the Cù-Sìth, a supernatural dog said to roam the highlands of Scotland. It would occasionally bark three times, and if you didn't reach a place of safety by the third bark you would die of fright. #glasgow #scottiesinthecity #cusith #publicart #glasgownecropolis

Love this Maggie's Scottie in the City outside the National Piping Centre in the Cowcaddens area of Glasgow. Called Sir-Wags-A-Lot, it was designed by Amy Tomlinson and is sponsored by Walker’s. What I want to know is where Amy got the tartan paint from, as I remember being sent to the stores once to get a can of it, but no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find any! #glasgow #scottiesinthecity #nationalpipingcentre #sculpture #publicart
