Hollywood buys the script, not the storyboard. The narrative, world-building, and intent are what get shopped around. As a product guy seemingly surrounded by designers who over-index on visual, interaction, and motion design, I think about this a lot. #productdesign

Share buttons are a design habit, not a strategy. This piece looks at actual data on whether people click them, and the numbers are not kind. If you’ve been adding social sharing widgets without questioning them, stop and read this first. https://ankursethi.com/blog/nobody-clicks-your-share-buttons/ #uxdesign #webdesign #productdesign (https://uxbrad.com/activity/20260701/171500/)

@Archimage sort your initiatives by how many users use the feature (Reach), the impact they have on your audience, the level of confidence you have in the assessment and the effort in building it. Use the RICE methodology https://www.intercom.com/blog/rice-simple-prioritization-for-product-managers/ #ProductDesign #UX

RE: https://mastodon.social/@arstechnica/115939571746890558 Who’s responsible for these purchases otherwise? And even then, how many of these sales will end up returned or complained about? #AIagents #UX #ProductDesign
