#polisci

Hi all. I’m bored. I’m not really “back” - still have super bad writer’s block/no time - but I’ve realized I need conversation that’s not just “lol Instagram reel.” So hello, people of Mastodon. I am doing a PhD in #PoliSci (#geoeconomics/#CriticalRawMaterials). I work on the #EnergyTransition and often go to energy conferences and similar, most recently at DGAP and one held by adelphi. I live in Germany (mein Deustch ist C1 aber nicht perfekt) . Photography is my thing. Hallo! #introduction

The CLOSER project studies party politics in the ‘post-Ottoman space’ of the MENA region by bringing together political scientists, historians, and geographers in order to investigate the historically deep social cleavages behind the region’s political parties and party systems, together with their territorial dimensions. #Introduction #PoliSci #History #Geography #SocialSciences #Politics #PoliticalParty #MENA

Work with outstanding researchers in one of Germany’s most beautiful cities: #CfA for our 2027 Visiting Research Fellow Program for #historians, #economists, #politicalscientists and scholars of cognate disciplines focussing on #EasternEurope or #SoutheasternEurope. 👇 What we offer in the thread #PoliSci #AreaStudies #histodons #histodonDE #histodonsDE

I just created a new blog, and to celebrate I'm doing something I've never done here, creating a proper introduction! I'm a 20 something American #trans woman who's currently researching #polisci and studying #cybersecurity. I'm very passionate about #politics (I don't know exactly where I land, but somewhere on the far left lol). I've been trying to help build a strong local community where I'm at. Organization & community is one of the best defenses against fascism! As is direct action! I also really love music, esspecially hiphop. My favorite artists right now are, in no particular order, #Doechii, #SZA, #KendrickLamar, #BillyWoods, #KaliUchis, and #LittleSimz. https://pirategoddess.net/blog/introduction/ #introduction
