I love this tile frieze in one of the ground floor shops in the Glasgow Style Caledonian Mansions on Great Western Road. Currently home to Roots, Fruits and Flowers, its first occupant, in 1904, was Northern Farmers, a butcher, meat and farm produce seller, and this frieze may well date back to this time.
