Hello! And welcome to day 1 of this 3-day game of #JetLagHideAndSeek - Germany edition! It’s 9:00am, @wendy@mendeddrum.org and I are at Hannover Hauptbahnhof, and it’s time for us to Go! Go! Go! Today Wendy and I are hiding somewhere in Germany, and my at 10:00am, my good friends @quixoticgeek@social.v.st and @darkphoenix@not.an.evilcyberhacker.net will try to find me… but I’m not going to make it easy for them! We last played #JetLagHideAndSeek in Germany, almost a year ago. And it was Bad. It’s the first time we played the game. We jumped straight (well, queer) into the deep end. We had a few showers of cold water, in one case after carrying around a stupid number of litres of it around. We were splashing about with no real idea of how to play, or what made this game amazing. We braved Sauna-like temperatures, fresh mountain herb aromas, and after it all our shoulders definitely needed a massage… It was a glorious game, but also a very Bad one. Specifically because we ended up in three spa towns, or Bader: Bad Salzungen, Bad Blankenburg, and Bad Neustadt. A year on, we have a much better idea of what we are doing, and we are committed to making this game much less Bad.
