#jabberEl seems to get support for message threads soon. Nice! Not my most wanted feature maybe, but one I will use for sure. Seems, it will be compatible to #Cheogram threads. #Emacs #Jabber #XMPP

Starting the week with a good deed — to myself! Liked to have the latest #jabberEl 0.11.1 on #Debian 13 #trixie stable, so I uploaded it to #backports. Should be installable in a few hours: $ sudo apt install -t trixie-backports elpa-jabber At this point, using #Jabber/#XMPP or other free and federated IMs is the second best thing we can do against #ChatControl in the #EU. The best is to write to our #MEPs before Wednesday. Do both! #privacy #digitalRights #Emacs
