New Australian research confirms what many have suspected: expensive, invasive IVF add-ons being pushed on desperate patients often have little or no evidence they actually help. These extras can cost thousands per cycle, adding financial strain to an already gruelling process. While clinics profit from hope, patients are left paying for treatments that may not improve their chances. We need mandatory disclosure of evidence for every add-on, and a crackdown on pricing that exploits vulnerability. #auspol #ivf
